My Story
Hi I'm Rick
In 1990 I set myself up with a window cleaning round which I grew over the next few years with added painting jobs thrown in.
My desire to be creative took over so I sold my window cleaning round to pursue a career in building, Taking up an NVQ in carpentry in 94/5. It was at this time that I gained a job in London carrying out office and shop refits where attention to detail is a must. The travelling to and from took its toll with my young family, so I started working in Folkestone fitting windows and setting up my own building company RG Building and Refurbishments.
I bought my first house and completely refurbished it in 2000.
From this I have progressed to all aspects of building techniques, carried out refits, extensions, loft conversions and to date I have designed and built 7 houses.
Recently I have designed and built my own home and am now looking to take on small projects, bathrooms, kitchens etc.
I generally work on my own. When i need extra help or specialist trades i have planty of contacts for reliable, skilled people to call upon. This is the reason i dont take on larger contacts.
